I've been wanting to try out authentic Indian food for the longest time... so when my friends and I went out for dinner, we decided to go to Bollywood Bistro Bar at Greenbelt 3 in Makati.
I had such a pleasurable dining experience at Bollywood so I decided to bring my hubby and sister there the next time we were in the Makati area.
Good thing my sister is also a fan of exotic food... so it was a cinch convincing her to have lunch with me at Bollwood.
The place is nicely decorated... the walls are brightly painted with Indian-themed designs and the booths have colorful capiz shell curtains. The female members of the crew are also dressed in Indian-inspired outfits... which was a very nice change from the usual =)
Everything we ordered was just the way I expected it to be... perfect. The Lassi drink (yogurt milk shake) was perfectly blended, sweet, and refreshing. Mmmm-mmmm....
The Chicken Tandoori was tender and very tasty... as well as the Vegetables in Curry Sauce (I forgot the actual name of the dish... hehehe). We also ordered a Clam Chowder and several helpings of Pita and Naan accompanied with special yogurt sauces and jams for dipping.... very scrumptious!!!
Our total bill was about Php. 1,350.00 for the two (2) lassi drinks, an order of Chicken Tandoori, vegetable curry, pita and naan (with sauces for dipping), two (2) servings of plain rice, and a single serving of clam chowder.
I apologize for not having more information to share in this post... I guess we were too busy enjoying the ambiance and the food that I forgot to take note of the other details like individual prices, and other items on the menu... hehehe =) Next time we eat at Bollywood, I'll make a note of the things I missed on this post.. promise =)
