The first time I ate at Agave Mexican Cantina was at their branch in Bonifacio High Street (but just for their Nachos and Bottomless Margarita). I was there on a nightcap with a girl friend after a wedding so I really didn't get the chance to try their other dishes... but I did get a good look at their menu. Since then  I've been wanting to have dinner with Wowie there as they had a lot of yummy choices I was extremely interested in.

I was both happy and excited to know that we wouldn't have to go all the way to Makati to have a taste of their yummy-looking dishes since they also had branches in Eastwood Libis and Tomas Morato. We finally got around to going on a movie-dinner-date at their Eastwood spot.

Bottomless House Margarita
(Php 295.00)

I already knew I was having their Bottomless House Margaritas... a bang for your buck at Php 295.00 especially if you can drink more than 2 glasses like me (since a glass costs Php 175.00)... Score!!! I love their bottomless margaritas... just the right mix in my opinion. You can also to choose to have your bottomless margaritas in a flavor-of-the-day like strawberry at Php 395.00.

We decided to order their Agave Baby Back Ribs - Half Slab... Awww... we were disappointed... 'coz we should've ordered a FULL SLAB! Their Baby Back Ribs were so delectable! It went well with the Mexican Red Rice which came with the dish. Yum-O! At first I didn't want to force Wowie to order a full slab for us to share, afraid it might not be delicious. Well, there's always a next time right? And NEXT TIME... we'll surely order a Full Slab of Agave Baby Back Ribs (Php 825.00)!

We wanted to try a lot of dishes since their menu is quite extensive... another plus point for Agave. I just love their menu choices... unlike most of the Mexican restaurants in town just serve burritos, tacos, nachos, and enchiladas. Too bad we had a little too much to eat during the movie that we couldn't possible handle more food.

We settled on ordering the Camaron al Diabla and a Grande-sized Steak Burrito to share. Both were really delicious! I must remember to go here hungry next time so I can order more of their tasty Mexican fare!

 Camaron al Diabla (Php 280.00)

The Camaron al Diabla dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked... It's good to eat it alone as an appetizer, and seems also yummy with the Mexican Red Rice. Wowie and I were also very pleased with their Grande Steak Burrito. It had perfect slices of steak inside, not too tiny or shredded... sized just right to get the taste of beef in your mouth.

Overall, we had an extremely satisfying dinner experience at Agave Mexican Cantina. I'm really excited for our next meal here... and we're definitely looking forward to tasting their other dishes! We'll be ready with our big and hungry appetites next time!
